The best thing you can do for your pet is supply them with high-quality healthy and balanced food. The appropriate food will keep your dog healthy by providing increased mobility and stamina, and giving them a shiny coat. Your dog requires highly nourishing food that has a mix of high-quality components.
Factors to think about when choosing Dry Food for Dogs: When picking the appropriate dog food, take into consideration the age, breed, activity level, and reproductive status of your canine. The physical features and behavior of your dog are vital considerations when selecting a proper dog food. Young pups, lactating moms, as well as energetic breeds will call for more calories each day than senior dogs as well as low activity level types. Dogs have different dietary demands that change as they age. Therefore, regularly pick Dry Food with a high nutritional value. Additionally, recognize if your pet has a food hypersensitivity or intolerance when choosing their food. Throwing up, diarrhea, ear build-up, and bad coat conditions can be indications of food intolerance in your pet.
When selecting food for your dog, it is important to understand the labeling. Always check the dog food labels to ensure that a proper sourcing of active ingredients are there. On the label, examine the nutritional information to ensure the food gives complete and balanced nutrition, and carefully evaluate the ingredients list. You want to see whole foods and stay clear of excess chemical preservatives in dog food as it can be harmful for their health as well as digestion.
After you have chosen a new food, do not introduce it abruptly. Instead, you can progressively change the dog's diet regiment by including a little new food to the old diet daily. Do this until your dog is exclusively consuming the brand-new food. At the same time, it is recommended to switch your dog's meat source every couple of months to supply them a range of foods, and as a result, a variety of nutrients. Experts also think feeding your canine the same food constantly can create allergies and nutritional deficiencies to establish.

They have such cute and different dog treats and items! We love their dog cookies and cakes. Oakley loved her cake for her 5th birthday, and all her doggie friends loved their birthday pawty treats too!
Friendly staff, a variety of treats, toys, clothing, leashes, collars, and harnesses. They have a decent selection of chews and a biscuit bar. This is the smaller of two locations. They have a loyalty program for kibble. Once in a blue moon they are out of something, but this is still my go to for Fromm and fancy dog treats. Parking is the only issue because of the UPS next door.
I have a bag of Southern Barker healthy treats for our grand puppy at her parent’s home our ours. I’m a grandparent and it is hard not to give treats! I feel so much better giving the healthy treats and she LOVES them!
We Love Southern Barker! Not only is it precious with the cutest of everything pet related, the staff is always so friendly, kind and attentive. We love the dog daycare and our Barley loves all of his friends there too. He received his first big boy cut this week, and Raven did an AMAZING job. I can’t say enough great things about Southern Barker. We love to support locally owned businesses too, added bonus!
This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions. Most importantly…my boy Goldendoodle has been loved on! He is happy when he leaves and excited to go back! Day play at Barker University left him worn out. 😊
